User Review using Amcor 3900 Touchscreen Portable GPS

Anyone who’s been on a road trip knows that a good navigator is difficult to find. A poor navigator-well, he’ll ruin the entire trip. And when you’re lost in the middle of nowhere, low on gas, and hungry, you start wishing you’d have taken more precautions.

If this sounds like you, the Amcor 3900 Touchscreen Portable GPS might be the tool you’re looking for.

The best feature of the Amcor Touchscreen is its user-friendly construction. The screen is a lengthy 3.5″ and big enough to be read without squinting or difficulty of any sort. The screen is LCD and features brilliant color, with a picture bright enough to be read even in extreme light. And with only four buttons on the control panel and a straight-forward user interface, the system is simple enough to be navigated by even the most technologically-challenged driver.

The display is touch screen, making it easy for drivers on the move. It also has a built in speaker unit that provides the driver with voice-guided directions, giving turn-by-turn instructions to and from any location in the United States (including Puerto Rico) or Canada. It is equipped with a window mount, and can be placed right beside the driver seat for remarkably easy access.

You can enter your destination through GPS coordinates, address, or points of interest (landmarks, restaurants, hospitals, etc.). In the voice-guided directions, users can choose between two different voices. If English is a problem, there are 20 other languages to choose from.

But the Amcor is more than just a navigation system: it’s an all-around entertainment center. The unit allows you to listen to digital mp3 and mp4 music files, watch downloaded movies, play video games, and view a photo gallery of your favorite digital photos-all while your car is on the move!

The Amcor unit would be a lovely addition to my automobile, and would ease a lot of my driving headaches.
